The Brief

Since 1972, Simpson Group has been providing award-winning print marketing campaigns to some of the biggest names in business. They are consistently investing in pioneering technology and client-benefiting services to ensure that they remain the market leader in cutting edge Point of Purchase & Point of Sale. The brief from Simpson Group in 2019 was transparent; the business wanted to develop a long term SEO strategy which focused on core keywords and provided the business with a more consistent sales pipeline.

Our Approach

We always recommend clients to take a multi-channel approach and with this client we advised them to adopt both SEO & PPC to their strategy. The client did not wish to invest in PPC, they had tried this previously (internally) and it had not delivered results. In this case Wriggle Marketing needed to create an SEO strategy which delivered results quickly and was robust enough to ensure the pipeline was consistent. Initially the strategy which we presented included rich SEO content including FAQs and schema mark up, changes to website structure and adjustments to the website to increase the conversion rate. In time the ROI proven keywords all moved up to page 1 and now sit in positions 1-5. We continue to expand the keywords in which Simpson Group ranks for and this has meant they have developed a lead generation source from their website and gain daily website enquiries from large global retailers. The client continues to achieve their objective and their pipeline and this is still an active client of Wriggle’s where we continue to develop their digital marketing presence.
