When looking into a firm, you want to make sure it is a reputable firm with results. Therefore, make sure you take a look at their portfolio of work, ask questions like where they were ranking before they joined the agency and where they are now. #2 If something sounds too good to be true – it probably is
Don’t be fooled by the companies who offer you great results in a small period of time. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is! SEO agencies cannot say where they will get you and within what time frame. Getting to the top of Google doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time and effort for you to start seeing results. Which is why a company who offers to get you into the top 3 on google within a week probably aren’t the agency for you.

SEO agencies are all well and good, but ask if they offer other services, this will allow you to get a better understanding of the agency and how they will be able to help other aspects of your site. For example, if an issue flags up on the SEO audit saying you need to change something on Facebook, then an agency who also offers social media support will be able to fix that issue.
