Washington Components is a family-owned precision engineering firm with over 40 years of engineering expertise.
The business has customers in many different industrial sectors and markets. These include; Petroleum (SubSea Infrastructure, Drilling, Completions and Abandonments), Renewables (Wind, Solar & Hydro-Electric), Transportation, Conventional Power Generation and Transmission, Telecommunications and Fluid Transfer to name just a few.
When we initially met with the directors to discuss their objectives the brief was clear. The business had lots of returning customers who valued the service they provided all the way from concept / visualisation, technical drawings and consultation through to delivery but the business struggled to gain any / many enquiries through digital activity, their main source of new business was word of mouth. Their core objective was to within a 6 – 12 month period increase their online presence through PPC.
Wriggle were initially instructed in mid 2022, and due to budget and scepticism we needed to prove an ROI through PPC before SEO bolted on as a service.
Our self sustaining strategy was to launch a PPC campaign which would generate enquiries over an initial 6 month period which would turn into instructions / closed business over a 12 month period when considering the client lead times.
Following this we would launch an SEO campaign in tandem with the PPC campaign. The results generated are outlined below (as of October 2023 we are only 2 months into the SEO campaign) nevertheless these results have meant that the business now has a solid incoming stream of enquiries from digital sources.
