SEO Specialist

Wriggle Marketing are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to manage and deliver SEO campaigns for a variety of clients across different industries

 

Description

 

Supporting our Head of Search and our Inbound Marketing Specialist to develop SEO strategies, aid in content planning, on-page optimisation, keyword research, technical audits and developing reports for clients.

 

You will be expected to keep up to date with new developments in SEO, whilst actively researching, testing and proposing new approaches to improve search engine rankings, as well as site conversion rates where applicable.

 

The ideal candidate will have  6 months – 1 years’ experience working in an agency environment, in-house position or freelance SEO work.  – Don’t worry if you’re not the finished picture, we will support you in developing your skills.

 

 

Skills

 

  • A basic level of on-page optimisation knowledge [ Content, internal/external linking, page titles, meta descriptions and URL structures etc ]
  • A basic level of off-page SEO knowledge [Local SEO, social, backlinks, guest posting, blogger outreach]
  • The ability to run technical SEO audits on websites, using the tools available
  • Develop new ways to improve, track and monitor search performance
  • Carrying out competitor analysis, backlink audits and keyword research
  • An understanding of Google Search Console and Google analytics
  • An understanding of the WordPress platform and other CMS
  • A basic understanding of HTML would help
  • Pro-activity and the ability to be able to work with the minimum supervision
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Good telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship builder with the team, other departments and external partners
  • Self-motivated to learn new SEO skills and stay up to date with the industry
  • A proactive and positive ‘can do’ attitude

Junior Designer

Job Title: Junior Designer

We have an opportunity for a dedicated Graphic/Web Designer to join our team. You will work with our senior creatives to assist with design tasks for a range of projects and clients. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop a career in the Media Industry and gain some agency experience.

 

Description

The applicant must have a passion for digitally created Media (and potentially print), and preferably have a keen and solid understanding of industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite mainly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. They need to understand basic HTML and CSS, though on the job training will be provided.

 

The projects may cover a wide range of marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns and websites, print, magazine adverts to social media.

 

Profile

A Degree in a Design / Multimedia based discipline

Ideally, have an understanding of WordPress or a similar CRM system.

Essential to have a concern for and a superb attention to detail

Develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client’s objectives

Produce graphic files that meet with the specifications of production (size, format, etc)

Design for digital media (web, user interface, user experience)

Design for print (flyers, brochures)

Contribute creative ideas for new and existing clients

Make the effort to stay up to date with design trends and standards

Support the design team where needed

Demonstrate layout and typography skills

Manipulate/edit images for print and website

Source images

Create and adjust digital images

Show strong attention to detail and commitment to quality – while always meeting deadlines

Provide customer service

Self-motivated to learn new Web skills and stay up to date with the industry

A proactive and positive ‘can do’ attitude
